Mike began in the financial services industry in 1998 working for a mortgage company in Perth. Within two years he gained his full qualifications as a mortgage advisor. He began traveling around Scotland arranging mortgages and mortgage related protection, his success was in part due to his down to earth approach and building good client relationships. He gained invaluable experience and joined Linear Financial Solutions in 2012. These days he lives in Edinburgh with his partner Irene and has clients all over the UK as most of his business is arranged over the phone and online. In the last five years he has specialised in the Buy-to-let market, as well as also arranging mortgages for first time buyers and home movers. He likes the challenge of finding the best solution for his clients as well as looking after his existing customers, whether to buy further properties or help keep their rates low by arranging a re-mortgage or product transfer. When not working he will be out walking, cycling or driving, looking after his own property portfolio, working on DIY, watching Formula 1 on TV or travelling abroad.
