Career before joining Linear Financial Solutions

I was a case/care worker managing clients with brain injury cases.

Why did you join Linear Financial Solutions?

I got a mortgage through Linear Financial Solutions! having bought my house with an estate agent that used Linear Financial Solutions’s services, at that point I thought I could only use a bank for these sorts of things. It was at that moment when the adviser come to speak with us that I thought ‘this is a bit of me, I would love this!’ He gave me a number to ring and the rest is history. 

What were your career goals when you joined Linear Financial Solutions? 

I wanted to be a fully qualified broker in protection and mortgages. I also wanted to be a specialist protection broker for Linear Financial Solutions working with other advisors providing a service. 

How did you find the transition?

From the beginning, I’ve always felt welcome. I knew that if I needed support I’ve always been able to ask technical questions from an advisory point of view and someone was there to answer my queries. We are one big happy advisory family!

What career progression have you made during your time with Linear Financial Solutions?

I’ve become a fully qualified/licensed insurance and protection broker. I have advisors who work with me to get their clients a proper protection package if they are busy or need some specialist advice if it may be more complex. I’m now 90% of the way through my CEMAP mortgage advice qualifications which linear have supported me with and given me the resources needed to succeed. 

I am now in the initial stages of starting my own brand and setting up my business within Linear Financial Solutions.

How has the ongoing support helped you achieve your goals?

Ongoing support is available at a moments’ notice in Linear Financial Solutions. We have an adviser WhatsApp group where we all support each other and fire in questions for quick advice – or bounce tips and tricks around. Lucy the admin manager is ace! Then you have David Woodbridge who supports us all brilliantly.

How do you feel you have grown as an adviser?

I am massively more confident than ever. I am excited for what’s to come and feel the sky is the limit in Linear Financial Solutions.

How has you time with Linear Financial Solutions impacted your personal life?

I have a great work/life balance, more so than anywhere I’ve worked before. It’s relaxed but you get out what you put in. I actually love what I do and don’t really see it as work. It’s a fantastic company to work for and the sky really is the limit for what you want to achieve.
